Flat Bread Salsa Pizza

A sweet refreshing pizza, with smoky and citrus notes.

Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients:

  • 1-½ cups Whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1-¼ cup water, lukewarm

Sauce Ingredients:

  • ¼ Head Cauliflower, trimmed
  • 3 oz GO Veggie! Dairy Free Cream Cheese Alternative, Classic Plain
  • 4 oz Tofu, silk
  • 1 Avocado, small
  • 2 Lemons, small
  • 2 Limes
  • Cilantro (to taste)
  • 1 Jalapeño (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Topping Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. GO Veggie! Dairy Free Shreds, Mexican Flavor
  • 1 onions, small, caramelized
  • 1 Corn, whole
  • 1 tsp. Paprika, Smoked
  • ½ pt. Tomato
  • 1 yellow pear, halved

Instructions
 

  • Read entire recipe before beginning & gather all ingredients and equipment.

Dough Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredient except for water, and mix gently.
  • Slowly incorporate water until dough comes together. (you may need to add more water or flour)
  • Let rest until ready to grill.
  • In a pot of boiling water, blanch cauliflower.
  • Submerge in ice bath to stop cooking process.
  • In a food processor, add cauliflower, cream cheese and tofu and Salt and pepper and blend until smooth.
  • Add cilantro and jalapeño until desired flavor acquired
  • While sauce blends, place corn, split avocado and flat bread into the grill.
  • Grill until desired doneness (smokiness)
  • Take the cornels off the corn husk and season with, lemon juice, lime zest, paprika and salt and pepper
  • Take avocado and smash into paste, seasoning with lemon zest, lime juice, and salt and pepper.
  • Once all ingredients are cooked and ready, prepare for assembly.

Assembly Instructions:

  • Spread avocado paste into flat bread.
  • Spread cauliflower sauce into flat bread.
  • Top with corn, onions, tomatoes, sprigs of cilantro and GO Veggie! Shreds
  • Share and enjoy.
  • Chef’s Notes: To get the best flavor from Cilantro, use stems as well as leaves.
